Newly-developed 5-fold zoom lens with Nikon's VR system for Shake. So as usual for stationary subjects, the use of up to three times longer than normal shutter speed for sharp handheld recording possible. The Nikon Silent Wave Motor provides for quiet and fast autofocus operation. The use of ED glass and aspherical lens elements ensure high image quality.

Pros.
* The image resolution at the central area of relatively good picture ..
* Weight is not much .. the VR.
* Rotate the structures good work .. Focus AFS works.
Cons.
* Edge image quality over a wide view to the problem. Have similar lens elements move. Make the image is not sharp in some more time.
* CA as a whole is considered rather far to little. But still not considered very much.
* Axial CA using Aperture wide end. Are seen throughout the zoom.
* Vignette and Distortion moderate.
