The Sigma 18-50 / 2.8 EX DC HSM NIKON MACRO EX is a high-aperture zoom lens designed specifically for use with Nikon digital SLR cameras up to sensor APS-C format. Modern production methods ensure the highest level of image quality through the effective correction of the most common aberrations. The special allowance prevent reflections from the sensor surface resulting ghosting and provides a neutral color balance. Due to the extremely low light decrease the lens to achieve a uniform illumination in the corners. Through the use of SLD, ELD and aspheric lens elements could be realized in addition to the high correction values also an extremely compact design. The low minimum distance of just 20cm allows shooting at a scale to 1:3, making it the ideal standard zoom lens for all occasions.
