I tested the lens on the Canon 500D. I am particularly interested in whether the lens can use the full resolution of the 15 MB chips. Here are the results:
- General: The 15 MP ask that you carefully adjusting the distance. Below f/2.8 it has, even at a distance of 2 meters depth of only a few cm. Here, the autofocus is not always accurate enough. They must be manually set sharp. The mutualise goes with the lens without a switch.
- The lens is innenfokusiert. This means that the length remains constant. The minimum distance between the lens and the object is always> 10 cm. Thus, the flash manages to illuminate the objects. This is not as beautiful as a ring flash, but the pictures are sharp.
- Removal of 2.0 meters: From f/2.8 the images are sharp in the center, from f/5.6 also on the edge.
- Distance 25 cm: Autofocus too vague. Manual focusing is necessary. Sharp images from f / 4, but also good results with open aperture.

Overall for the price a very good lens.
