Tamron AF 28-75mm f/2.8 SP XR ZL Di LD Aspherical (IF) for Canon Digital SLR Cameras Review

have shot with this for 4 years now, bought at 5 and am happy to see amazon offering a great price after 3 years of inflation, one year of stagnancy.
it's really the one lens (aside from the canon 2.8 17-55mm image stab, which is twice+ much as this, but complements it) that i can say will bring no regrets. spelled n-o-n-e.
have 3 shots that show a range of work in the image section (clickable at top of page), no.s 139, 140, 141. my pro use is 141, for headshots with Read the rest of entry....
Tamron AF 60mm f/2.0 SP DI II LD IF 1:1 Macro Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras
I tested the lens on the Canon 500D. I am particularly interested in whether the lens can use the full resolution of the 15 MB chips. Here are the results:
- General: The 15 MP ask that you carefully adjusting the distance. Below f/2.8 it has, even at a distance of 2 meters depth of only a few cm. Here, the autofocus is not always accurate enough. They must be manually set sharp. The mutualise goes with the lens without a switch.
- The lens is innenfokusiert. This means that the length remains constant. The minimum distance between the lens and the object is always> 10 cm. Thus, the flash manages to illuminate the objects. This is not as beautiful as a ring flash, but the pictures are sharp.
- Removal of 2.0 meters: From f/2.8 the images are sharp in the center, from f/5.6 also on the edge.
- Distance 25 cm: Autofocus too vague. Manual focusing is necessary. Sharp images from f / 4, but also good results with open aperture.
Overall for the price a very good lens.
