This lens is the successor to the legendary 28-300mm XR, which has proven itself as a universal Reisezoom for all occasions. Di lens as it was specifically to the technical requirements of digital SLR cameras adapted, but still can be used as before for analog cameras. It delivers crisp, clear and sharp images at ultra-compact design and extremely low weight. Following the massive focal range (for digital cameras, it provides an angle of view equivalent to a focal range of approximately 45-480mm) the lens can be used universally as a standard zoom, and therefore enjoys great popularity especially when you travel. Due to its special allowance, which has been occurring with digital cameras increased scattering problem greatly minimized. Here, several very thin metal layers are evaporated onto the glass lenses. XR glass, aspherical lenses and LD (low dispersion) elements should also ensure that optimal reduction of aberrations. The minimum focusing distance is 49cm throughout the zoom range. At the 300mm setting you can achieve a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2,9.
